AutoShutDown :: 3.03 (.NET 2.0 version) | Description: AutoShutDown is a small simple tool I made for myself. I made it so I could close my computer at a certain time. For example if I am downloading something, and it will be done in an hour. And I will not be home for the next 6 hours. I would set the computer to close in 1½ hours maybe. It would be a waste to have the computer running an extra 4½ hours doing nothing. I like to put music on before I go to sleep. I then set the computer to close at 3 a clock. Then the computer will not be running all night if/when I fall a sleep. Windows XP already had a program like that, shutdown.exe but the graphical interface is not that good, and it was missing some of the features I would like. AutoShutDown uses shutdown.exe, it’s like and alternative graphical interface with more useful features, I think anyway.Features: You can choose between shutdown and restart, I don’t know what you would use restart for, but I’m sure someone will find it useful. You can also choose between, entering the number of minutes before the computer should shutdown/restart, or enter a time of day. The abort button will allow you to abort a current shutdown/restart. The Close ASD feature will close AutoShutDown after you have initialized a shutdown/restart. The Minimize dialog is a smart feature that will minimize the shutdown.exe dialog box, when a restart/shutdown is initialized. Select time of day allows you to fast select a standard time for the computer to shutdown/restart. Options: Use force will force running applications to close without warning. | AutoShutDown :: 3.01 (.NET 2.0 version) | Description: AutoShutDown is a small simple tool I made for myself.
